On October 8th, Caroline Lehr gave a seminar in Dublin within the program for continuing professional development of the Irish Translators’ and Interpreters’ Association. The seminar aimed at familiarising language professionals better with the role that emotions play in cognitive functioning and human performance. Caroline’s seminar was part of her project to transfer and apply emotion research to the work of translators and interpreters, working as multilingual communicators in various international contexts.
